Default Oh gee

I walk and carry my bag when I play the executive courses. They DO NOT WORK ON THE COURSES AFTER THEY ARE CLOSED!!!!
It would have to something major they were doing to be working on it after 7pm. Any work is started early in the AM and again other work like airation, the course closed all day. Tell me what I’m hurting by walking and playing at 7:30 at night? I’ve never understood why they do the “closed” thing.

Honestly, I care. Closed means closed! Not hard to understand . Whatever the reason for closure. Plenty of places to play . Just inconsiderate people .

Default No big deal

Did they do anything to cause you personally a problem ? Then mind your own business. They hurt no one and probable had fun golfing.

Life is to short to be a Nancy.

What really annoyed me though were the people who drove on the fairway, after all the rain we just had. The old, Starter/Ranger in me wanted to drive up to them, and read them the riot act.
Which courses? I wish it had been me that saw them. I would have asked for ID numbers. I AM employed by TV.

I was with you till the mask part.

Did you ask for their vaccination status? That's the first thing you should be doing.

I care and I see a problem

First of all, it wasn't clear if this was an exec or champ course. If it was a champ course these people were TRESPASSING and I would call the community watch if after the clubhouse was closed.

Second, did these people pay a yearly trail fee or was it ala carte? If so, they were stealing from the CDD on an exec

Third, and MOST IMPORTANT, amenities are not solely a benefit paid for in the monthly fee, they come with RESPONSIBILITIES as well.
My amenity fee pays for flowers in the RB's and intersection. Does that mean since I paid I can trample all over them?
I pay to maintain the Rec centers, does that mean I can break in at 2 AM and play billiards? (And no one tell me that isn't the same---when you drive your cart past the "course closed" sign, you are essentially breaking in).
Those who suggest that this behavior is acceptable are just promoting anarchy. (which is what you get when there are no rules or the rules are being ignored.) Imagine what TV would be like if EVERYONE ignored the rules, not just some entitled, selfish few???? You wouldn't survive a RB. or a MMP. There would be dead cyclists and pedestrians strewn all about. The golf courses would look like a minefield. Properties would look like a slum.

If the sign says "course closed", IT IS CLOSED, and for a reason. It's not up to you to decide if it is a valid reason or if you agree with it, or if YOU don't think you are doing any damage. JUST FOLLOW THE RULES!!!!!

End of rant.

Ohh. My goodness did I word it to offensively to the sensitive snowflakes out there. So you would have absolutely no problem with me and my buds setting up a tent and camp out partying in your yard and leaving it trashed then? Playing on a a closed course is trespassing.

Really. So if you were driving down your street and saw some kids with a can of spray paint putting graffiti on a neighbor's house you would "mind your own business"? I'm glad you're not my neighbor.

Evening golfers help keep the bikers, dogs, golf path tours and walkers off our cart paths. But , come out anyway and ask me for my village ID.
