Default Dishwasher recall question

Hi all:

Have any of you had your dishwasher fixed because of the recall on the GE dishwashers in the Villages? Someone told me the recall repair is that they come out and take out your heating element. Is this really the fix? I cannot imagining running my dishwasher without a heating element. Anybody had this done?

They replace your heating element. Switch them out. We have had quite a few already replaced here in Amelia. Mine was done last Tues.

My wife and I have managed to misplace the recall notice. Does anyone have the phone number handy?
