Nope, I'm fresh out. Guess you'll just have to follow your plan of whining to a bunch of people that have no ability to make a difference.

If you see the paper laying in a neighbors or friends driveway that you know is out of town, just pick it up and throw it away. That’s what we all do on our road.

There is an article in the Feb 10 and another in the May 5 District Weekly Bulletin about Well Being Checks. If Community Watch sees two or more newspapers in a driveway they may initiate a Well Being Check (WBC) to check on the resident. From the 2/10 article:
A WBC is one of the services that Community Watch provides Villages–wide when two or more papers are found in a resident’s driveway. First, we try to contact the homeowner in order to make sure that everything is okay.So be a good neighbor and keep your neighborhood clean by picking up the papers when you know your neighbors are out of town. On the other hand, be careful about picking up papers for those that are home.

It's quite ludicrous to call people whiners because we object to unsolicited litter being thrown onto our property when this so-called newsletter is nothing but a whiner's hit piece for people who have a grudge against the developer. I can guarantee that those of you supporting these droppings on my property would be howling mad if the developer published a counter newsletter and threw it onto your driveway. Don't look foolish and deny it.
I was told that I need to call, email, make smoke signals, or whatever to have my name removed from the list. I did send an email earlier, so we will see. I never signed up for this garbage in the first place. I won't bet any money that it will stop the littering of my property and my neighborhood. I don't want anything thrown onto my property unless it is $100 bills. |

I joined the POA because of the information I read in the paper when it was tossed on my driveway. It isn't "so-called" at all, it is a newsletter. The other adjectives you use to describe it tells my you've never read it. I hope your attempt at stopping it works. I know they were recently looking for someone to help deliver it, perhaps you could volunteer. Then you could make sure it only went to those homes where residents were not out of town, had not asked to have it delivered online, had not asked for no delivery, and who were not sitting on ToTV complaining about receiving a free newsletter.

Yeah, I might take up that job of delivering the newsletter, right to the landfill where it belongs. |
