Do you really thing the developer would allow the POA anything on TV property? If you haven't noticed, even the VHA mailbox is gone from the postal stations.

I walk my dog multiple times a day and when these are thrown out, I pick up them up from all houses that I know are vacant, whatever the reason. . No big deal.

If it bothers you so much, bend over and pick it up.

Exactly! The complaining is ridiculous.

I totally agree with you. It's a piece of litter when not picked up immeadiately. If a good samaritan does not pick it up it ends up in our storm water collection ponds adding to the cost of mainting that system. It is up to POA to determine who wants to read their paper and not just drop it on everyones driveway. I would assume that POA knows that if the paper was not dropped off, there subscription rate would be virtually zero as the vast majority of us really like living in The Villages.

We pay dues every year to belong to the POA. You can choose to have it delivered or you can choose to read it online. People who leave to go back up North for the summer are supposed to notify the POA not to deliver during that time. Just like you have to call the Daily Sun to suspend delivery. When I see papers in neighbors driveways and I know they are away, I call the POA and notify them and give them the address. Problem solved.

Do you know the history of the POA? Only origination that actually looks out for your rights. Instead of complaining help them out. Pick the papers up and put them on neighbors porch. You can put in grocery bag and hang on front door. Have a wonderful day, enjoy life!

Disabled, not too easy for me. Any other bright ideas?

I never joined the POA, so I shouldn't be receiving their periodicals. They do, however throw two of them in my driveway each time ..... one at each end of my circular driveway. I personally consider them to be "litter", and don't read them. I have a bad back, and it's a pain in the butt to pick them up. I emailed them just now, to stop delivery, so let's see how they respond.

The developer won't allow it. Competes with his own newspaper.

The same goes for the daily "news" paper that's being left in our driveway these days. If we wanted it, we'd subscribe!
(And yes, I've called but they haven't gotten around to stopping it yet.)

Write to the POA, several people have provided contact information, talk to your neighbors and have them write to the POA, or call Community Standards if you feel that strongly about it. There have been several good suggestions - pick one. You might even post your address and maybe some good Samaritan will ride over and pick them up for you.
I called, I emailed, what else can I do Einstein? So anymore ideas?
