Default Police in action

Last Thursday April 1, about 5:30 PM, I was travelling east on El Camino, as I approached the Morse Blvd Circle, I noticed approx 5 police cars, lights flashing. They had a young man on his knees behind his car as they were applying handcuffs to him, while another officer was standing behind them with gun drawn pointed at the suspect...Anybody know what was going on?? Looked like something out of Cops!!!

Default Probably forgot to ........

Lets see, my guess is a) he forgot to pay his amenities for this month or b) he disobeyed a direct order from "ARC" and didn't take down that hanging planter in his front yard.

Neat bumper sticker. Went like this: "It's God's job to judge terrorists. Our job is to arrange the meeting!"

Be a gentleman, remove your hat/cap when entering a building and dining out!

Default Good For Them

Don't know what was going on, but sounds like he probably needed arresting since there were that many on him.

I have seen the same thing on Buena Vista. It is possible they stopped one of the area workers for speeding or something and found out he had several outstanding warrants.

Don't you sometimes wish that there was regular coverage of the news events in your town. I know there are lots of people who just don't want to know what's going on around them. Somebody said here once, "if it doesn't affect my family, I don't care about it."

I guess not knowing what's going on around you is better. What's that old saying......." (something I forget what is is)......is bliss."

I like general information like that for my brain to process. Could mean trend or lifestyle reference. I think we should be aware of surroundings and happenings.

Default Lots of it aroumd here

There is a lot of it around here and I DO MEAN LOTS!! It's reflected in not having a life of your own or having nothing to do from morning til night.
These people are called "busybodies" and making their whole life's directive the absolute need to know what everyone else around them is doing or not doing! Add that to what I dislike about certain Villagers. I try to avoid people like that as I would with a plague.

Are you including those who have a desire to know about criminal activity in The Villages?
