Every time the developer adds a major new area they MUST hook up power and we get some power outages because of it.

I feel my electrons stripping out, like I can't focus on overdue taxes. It must be from the neck disc replacement with metals. Is there a cure?

There were a series of these in the Pinellas village some time ago that appear to be related to system changes on the SECO system as they add or change facilities. I would expect this is the case due to the times mentioned, these would cause the least impact (I think). I worked in this field (up north) for over 40 years, and typically we would try to notify customers of planned outages due to planned work. I am note sure SECO does this.

My technical husband Sweetie agrees with me that it is probably due, as it was in the past, to adding a large territory to the grid. In this case Fruitland Park.

Power Outage last night

power

AND you can expect more interruptions in the coming month or so.

True. Except it it is much less likely to occur when the bulk of the planet is between us and the sun.

Just spoke to SECO. They are researching the issue from this morning. Saturday's was caused by a tree frog that got onto a transformer that serves the 3-phase providing power to many of us below 466A. The transformer blew. The

Essentially the same thing occurred last Sunday when another critter reached a transformer. They think that is likely what happened last as well.

Up north, it was squirrels, they caused lots of outages............In one case a single squirrel took out all but 1 of the 69kV (high side) fuses when it got across the 12kV (low side) bus. Lots of damage inside the substation. Squirrel did not survive, but was well done.
