Default Protection for rocker feet??

Hi everyone. We have an iron bistro set with two rocking chairs. I bought it about 20 years ago and it's still a nice looking set. The only problem is when I bought it I was able to also buy plastic sleeves that went over the bottom of the rockers so they wouldn't damage anything when they rocked. The plastic has since been removed and now we are looking for something else to put on the bottom so if the bottoms rust, they won't damage our lanai. They are kept out where they get wet. It's a heavy set so we don't bring it underneath so it doesn't get wet. Any suggestions on what we could put on the rockers to protect our lanai?? I've looked on line and cannot find anything. Thanks.

You could cut up an old carpet into strips and screw them to the rockers of you could put a small rug under each rocker. We have an area rug in our lanai, it gets wet and then dries in no time. Hope this helps.
