Default Rental during off-season

HI,
We intend to be snowbirds, and was wondering what is the prospect of renting out our property in the off season?? Because right now, we are not planning on moving to TV permanently. Thanks for any insight into this.

Default Re: Rental during off-season

Jan. Feb. and March rent often, Dec. and April rent occasionally at much lower rates and the other months seldom rent at any decent price. You should have A local person to help or a local rental agent to take charge. Also, rentals should be set up as such which means it will be different than if you came to visit. Rentals also have their own tax and occupancy issues. Check with local rental agencies for commissions, contracts and furnishing requirements and check on line rental sites to get an idea of availability and prices. Hope this helps. Lucko
