Default Publix lease signing at Magnolia Plaza

I'm either amazed at this news (1/2/2020 Daily Sun) or totally blind that I cannot find one person commenting on it on TOTV. Perhaps all the worried people have found another topic/issue to worry about and have moved on.

It was mentioned on 2 threads within the past 2 days. The current schedule is for construction of the Publix to start in late spring and to be opened in mid to late 2021.

Yes I read the schedule in today's paper but I did not see any discussion here on TOTV this morning since the announcement in the paper this morning. Really I was simply being facetious because all the people complaing for weeks, now nothing more about it!

There is now no reason for them to complain as the answer was published.

Thank you for the update!

I had confidence that these businesses would eventually be confirmed, as my glass is always at least half full. For us it makes our recent purchase even better.

No, it is because they were wrong. Posting rumors and negative comments with not facts.

Don't worry, there will be something else for them to whine and complain about in the near future...….

I'm really surprised that no one has latched on the nail and pedicure salon going in and started railing on it.

Old news, I told everyone in September in my video it was Publix going in there, the plans identified the store by name.

Of course the real question is what’s the holdup? It takes 2 weeks of not disturbing the topsoil for the grass and weeds to take root and start to sprout. There’s been grass growing there for 3 weeks or more now.

Don, I respect you and your work and I do know that you are one who researches what you say. My comment was simply responding to the announcement in the daily sun that the developer announced that Publix had signed the lease and wondered why all the naysayers had nothing to say about it. It was meant to poke some fun at those folks. Yes, you did say that the store was identified as Publix back in September but until yesterday I hadn't seen any official announcement from the developer.
