I would like to see another supermarket company build a store on 466a. Competition is a good thing.

I'm sorry, a couple of corrections and comments::

Gracie - Walmart is not at the intersection of 441/27 and 466A. It is at the intersection of 441/27 and 25A. To go the back way, turn right on 25A at the traffic light on 466A before 441/27 and follow that around and you'll come to the Walmart parking lot (the back way, avoiding all the traffic).

njbeachbum - Whole Foods is down that way too?? Do you mean Aldi's???

my comments about Publix,, if I go there, its very early in the morning 8am or late at night 8pm. Also, I leave my cart in an out of the way place and shop a few aisles and return to the cart with the stuff I picked up. I do this especially around the deli/bakery area.

FYI - last week I happened to be in Belleview to visit a doctor and shopped in the Sweetbay on the corner of 301 and 441/27. It was a marvelous shopping experience. Everything was in its place, its well laid out, and it was EMPTY!!!!! I know its too far to go for normal shopping but everytime I'm close to there, I will be visiting that store.

Kathie is right as usual. It is at the intersection of 25A and 441/27...not far really.

We went there last Sunday (our Sunday outing--things are sinking to a new low!) and from Tamarind Grove it is a lot shorter than going to the one on 466. However, it is an older store and not quite as nice.I think the parking lot is pretty full, except there are no carts and no crazy people shooting diagonally across the lot. We will probably make that the Walmart we go to, when we go to Walmart. Normally we shop at Winn Dixie in Wildwood. Love that store. Clean, plenty of parking, not crowded, and the employees are great.

That is what people put in when they change their minds abut what they have posted and want to edit the post. You can't eliminate a post, but you have some time to edit it, so you can erase everything and either put ..., ///, or whatever.

Keep in mind, if the store is packed and busy, they are turning over their stock rapidly and you are more likely to have fresh produce and meats. If the store is not busy and lots of parking, well, their may be a reason for that as well.

We had to start going to Sweetbay, it's further away than the colony publix but the overall time spent going there is a lot less than going to publix. The whole trip to and from colony via the cart path is just jammed with carts, and customers. Hardly any parking at colony if you decide to go there anyhow.

That's good to know. I tried it once and it didn't work. Thought maybe there was a time limit. I know another poster had to go to Admin to have a post taken down.

What are the ...'s and ///'s for then, Bare? Or is it to show that you are thinking something but not wanting to really say it?
