I don't have to call them again. They made it perfectly clear when I called them after the first time they raised my rate with no changes; they were not going to honor the one-price-for-life promise they made when I switched from CenturyLink to the rebranded QuantumFiber. This same thing played out with several of my neighbors (who received the same message when they called). I do not have their router.

“ We want to let you know the monthly recurring charge (MRC) for your Quantum Fiber® 360 WiFi® service will increase by $5 on or after October 3, 2025. The new MRC will show on your account after this rate change takes affect. Your payment method on file will be charged the total amount due, including the new fee, unless you cancel your 360 WiFi service before October 3, 2025. Otherwise, your continued use of your 360 WiFi service tells us you accept the changes stated in this notification. “ |

This is all very interesting because I just signed up my neighbor today who had Xfinity for $40/month and he just got a $5/month + tax increase. I can't believe these are connected but either way Quantum is still very reasonable but I agree they shouldn't say price for life if they raise it occasionally expecially if you have your own equipment and it's the same service. What I also find interesting is the people who have the $50/month 500Mbs, as far as I know haven't got an increase. My other neighbor got a $5/month reduction on his 1Gbs. Go figure.
