Default Question about 441

Never mind. Just thought I'd ask since I'm not down there full time and don't see the news. Should have known better.

I got stopped at every single light for two miles because they are so out of whack.
One morning, I left at 4:40 am, and once I got north of Aldi, I got stopped at every single light for no reason. There weren't any cars waiting or approaching the lights from the side streets, but they turned red anyway. It appears they have no sensors, which is kind of archaic for an area with that population.
Do the local governments ever attempt to find ways to ease the gridlock?

This has nothing to do with gridlock but do you realize when 441 goes north it joins 41 and you can drive it all the way to the upper pininsula of Michegan. Just useless info.

I believe US 441 runs separately except where 441 begins in Miami at US 41.

441 ends at Knoxville, TN; 41 runs west of 441 and up thru Nashville and parts north up to the UP.

The intersection of US 41 and US 30 near Dyer Indiana was called the Crossroads of America.

It was a legitimate question, that I too have wondered about since I got here.

Because traffic management is not a strong suit of The Sunshine State. It is pretty much a cobbled together system that has failed to keep up with the infestation of urban sprawl.

I consider the lack of timed lights just another idiosyncrasy of Florida and about as annoying as lovebugs.
