I have slept on several different sleeper sofas and a murphy bed. I will take the murphy bed any day because the sleeper sofas all seemed to have a bar running from arm to arm which dug into my spine. Which you choose just might depend on how long you want your guests to stay.

Has anyone tried one of these? They seem so intriguing. I would love to hear from someone who has one.

Just recently went to the place on 466, and really liked the wall unit that had two twin beds with a smaller cabinet in the middle. You could get a 16" or 18" depth, and they came with the mattresses. Did not like the $4,400 price tag!!!! And I would definitely pick the nicer wood selection which would mean more money. Eventually, I think I'll just stick to a trundle/daybed or a high riser. Good luck.

We thought the wall bed/Murphy bed was the solution for our third bedroom. We went to both Villages stores to see what we could do, and sadly discovered that we would have to remove the ceiling fan in order to use the bed.

If you're thinking of using a wall bed, make sure you also measure the height of your room and the placement of your ceiling fan.
