Big Al's just past the markets of Marion. It's $6.00 with the coupon in the Monday Daily Sun it's $5.00. Not there more than 10 minutes.

I get I can ask for Shelley and be safe. If she isn't there, any other names?
I use Mel (female) at Cals in Lake Sumter Landing. She's very good. I've used Shelly, she's good, but I prefer Mel. I'e never seen anyone come out with a bad cut from any employee there. Good Luck, Trish

Why does a quick haircut necessitate it be a barber? Plenty of places do not require an appointment as stated above. I'll be trying Lake Sumter Cal's. Looks likes the odds are good Thanks.

Big Al's has a seperate building for the Ladies. It is around $10. My neighbor gets hers done there and it looks fine. I cant not get my wife to try it. She pays $45 at some place. What is the difference between a "good hair cut & a bad hair cut"?............................. About 2 weeks, it will grow back!

What is the average price for a cut? Is there a difference for men vs women? My DH is more particular than I am about the cut With my short hair it doesn't seem to matter. I've been going to The Academy, but the length of time is getting to me. The drive to Marion and the shoppe beside Big Al is a bit long for a cut, but I have had a good $10 one there. DH goes to John the Barber on 441 just south of 466 but it is more money ($15) and a bit far. Colony or LSL would be much closer if the price was right and we could use the cart.

IF you are in the neighborhood of Marion Market stop at Big Al's [about 5 mi. north of TV on right of 444 - 9 Chairs / little or no wait most of the time
$6.00 regular cut / $1.00 off coupon in Mondays paper
They cut hair fast and I believe well - Kind of old fashioned place also

They charge $12 (plus tip) at Cal's for a men's cut. Appears to be higher than some of these other places being talked about.

It is $14 for a ladies which is less than the price of the tip from our neck of the woods so I am extremely extremely extremely happy.

I kept threatening my wife that this is the last time she cuts my hair. I tell her I am going to go to the Professional Hair Salon off of 466. I explained they have a "child's cut" for $7.00 and that is the one I'm asking for"
