Default Quilt show at Savannah

A friend and I went to the quilt show today, the second day of the event, and as we drove in the parking lot we could see it was busy. We drove around the parking lot about 3 times thinking we might get lucky and find a parking spot but there wasn't one to be had. There were more than a dozen cars doing the same. Cars parked where they shouldn't be parked, making it difficult to navigate. We ended up leaving without getting to see the quilts. I was so looking forward to seeing the work of extremely talented people. It's so discouraging this time of year to attend any event due to the influx of people. We've also tried going to the chili festival to no avail. Too many people....no parking. Welcome to the big city!

My wife went and she said that there was parking at the polo grounds with shuttles available.

Yes, it was very well attended. I had my husband drop me off and pick me up because I was concerned about parking.
