I love the rain but would really really really like it to take a break on Friday while the movers deliver my furniture.

The weather map on TV was very ORANGE!
It really looked bad from space on the weather channel. All orange and it looked like it was circling. Well all seems O.K. this morning but I thought maybe you were getting strong winds. At least the wild fires are dampened and the ponds are getting filled and the aquafir should be filling as well. Maybe someday we can water more than once a week!

Gee, I was just starting to get a little tan and all the rains came. I know it's needed, but wish it would stop soon. Hadley is still heavenly, however.

Soooooo, are you saying that it's not a beautiful day in The Villages? And everybody in TV is rained in? Cannot go outside to play? And it is supposed to keep on raining and raining and raining? Whatever will Villagers do with all that time indoors? Oh My! What if the birthrate goes up next February.

All kidding aside, they're talking about flood warnings in Central Fl. Boomer, We can sing in the rain. We can fill sand bags and sing Goombya, another Beautiful Day in the Villages.

I hope you dont get flooded. Where are the highest points in the Villages? Which Village is the highest above sea level? Already lost a house to Katrina so I need to know sea levels before I buy again.

I just looked at your weather. That is a lot of rain. I sure hope you get a break soon. I bet things will be really lush and green and beautifully tropical when it finally stops.

We live in Mallory Square (Madison Villas). We can see the rooftops of houses in a distance!!! If we get flooded out up there, then we're all in TROUBLE!! |

Now that it has quit raining i have a new total for my yard in santo domingo. This morning i poured out three more inches from my rain gauge giving me a total of 13 and one half inches for the entire rain event which lasted about 6 days.
