I felt was better than having no mask although doesn’t entirely protect you from that other person.
I would have requested to be moved to another table away from the cougher. I would not have stayed there.

Because it’s still a free country! If you feel safer with a mask then use one. If the establishment requires that you use one then that’s it’s policy and it’s your choice to go in or not. I for one will not be dictated to, it’s my choice!

Then stay home. Requiring everyone to wear a mask is ridiculous. Masks CANNOT keep any virus out and, if you have the virus, you should not BE OUT! How easy is that?

LOL, thank you for making the whole point for wearing masks! There are people who have the virus and don't know they do (asymptomatic or presymptomatic) which is exactly why they want people to wear the masks. Yes, you can't keep it out from you with a mask (for the most part but there is still some protection) but it lets you keep it to yourself! Yes, of course it's not 100% maybe not even 50% but if one cares for friends and neighbors they will take that chance. And yes, HOW EASY IS THAT?

Right here in the T.V. bubble in the middle of nowhereland risk is low but in many other places it's not.

pre-COVID we'd go to TV movies almost every week. Now, nope - no interest for many many months no doubt. Would ONLY consider this year IF there is a Super-Duper movie out.

There is STILL so much to see on our DirecTV, HBO, and Netflix. And theaters, now too close for comfort. We're spoiled at home.

The Villages should set up a temporary DRIVE-IN movie area. and with no hot dog-type stands to have almost perfect social distancing and help society fight back against this VERY contagious PLAGUE.

Are you free to walk into a movie theater with no pants or underwear on? I didn't think so.

As for the mask......I don't feel safer when I wear a mask. I feel safer when you wear a mask. I don't think you have grasped that concept yet. Hopefully, you will come to the realization that the mask protects others. Your mask protects me and my mask protects you.

I have thought more about my comments about theaters requiring people to wear masks and I have changed my mind about it. As long as people in the theater are spaced out to social distance, then I'm fine with folks not wearing masks (just like in a restaurant). Gotta eat popcorn!

Wait, no underwear WITH pants is ok but not very sanitary but you're right on the birthday suit.

I think the "it's a free country" card and the "first amendment" card is way overplayed and usually ONLY when one is trying to defend their own argument or position but as soon as it is something they DON'T want to happen the card gets buried back in the deck.

I went to Brownwood movies last night. It was very clean, usher took us in with her mask on, sat us, explained how and where to exit, and remained in the theatre throughout the movie. Very good experience.

Default The virus also comes through the eyes just remember that.

I guess if you have a death wish then these are the places to go. Oh yes, by all means use the bathrooms. The virus won't think of getting you there. They can clean as much as they want and wear mask doing it, but they can't clean the air. One sneeze and you guessed it, you will be taking home a friend. Don't go to the movies please. You are followers of the, the virus won't get me group because I wear a mask. You are doomed. This virus is a killer.

The virus can float through the air for up to three hours. You think by wearing a mask it is not going to get you. Think again. It can come through your eyes and will attach itself to your skin. Once you are out of the movies you take your mask off and you automatically touch your face. HELLO, it got you. Think again before you go to the theater or any other place. It is coming to get you....
