They also don’t have a shade structure except at the gate entrance, so the handful of tables with umbrellas are the only shade offered for those eating and drinking from Fenney Grill.

Fenney pool is unique in that it’s the only non-country club pool in TV that has a restaurant attached to it for ordering food and drinks, and only one of two pools with a beach or zero entry. It’s so popular the gate is manned most of the time to check for Village IDs, and likely control crowd size. Plus, the rec center there is regional, which would normally have a sports pool not family pool. However, there is a sports pool too, it’s just a couple blocks away.

Since they have a history of spinning things with inaccurate information, whenever they put out information, it becomes a question of what really is the truth, and much is a make up exaggerated lie again. Anyone that blindly believes everything they say is simply being deceived.

Apparently even calling them "swimming pools" would trigger the "you cannot swim in an adult pool" arguments.
I'm on my first cup of coffee, but I am stretching my brain to come up with how "resort style pool" would fool someone into - what exactly?

Would that be allowed? Usually the rec department says 'no' to things like that.

Non rectangular shape is only difference.

I feel your pain. Love being outside, but my laying in the sun days are over. Give me shade. New to TV, but I haven’t seen many pools with any amount of shade.

the pool is always mobbed when we get there, -the last time we went they had no seats available. we use Cattails, just for a great view & lots of space, it's a lot like the fenney pool

It is the shape of the pool. The rectangle ones are not resort style.

No one is trying to trick you or cheat you. It is a normal, common, easy to learn thing if you simply googled it instead of decried the builder as evil. Bing even auto suggested the second half when I typed "what is a resort (suggested style pool)".

So yourself a favor, before you rage, search.

Umbrellas are not allowed at the pools. We were at a pool when an employee told a couple to take down their umbrellas. They were the only residents sitting around the pool.

Flying projectiles not a good thing. Wonder why some neighborhood pools are so crowded and others relatively empty

The pools at the Championship golf courses have umbrellas and some even provide table service to the restaurant. There is a nominal annual membership for access to these pools.

Not to take air out of my own question, however, I'm sure the expense of providing and replacing umbrellas for all these pools would be enormous. Just curious if anyone knew any other reason.
Hahaha umbrellas? When I moved here I was looking for the towel service.

It not that kind of place.
