Cfrance.... This does happen from time to time. Someone will join the site, not post, but, use the PM feature of the site to send unwelcome PMs to other members. They can only send one PM at a time..they cannot blast one message to multiple members. Admins and Mods don't know this is happening unless it is reported.

We will take action to remove posting and account privileges for this spammer. Others should ignore this PM.

Generally, you will get an email from TOTV notifying you that you have a PM. The person that sent the PM to you should not be able to see your private email address. Did you get the email as a notification from Totv? If so, that is normal. You should not have received an email directly from the spammer.

If you receive an unwelcome PM, you can use the red triangle feature to report it to the Admin and Mods so we can take action.

It is an unfortunate side effect of our cyber society.

They will not bother you if you ignore them, but if you are interested they will interview you via Skype as they are looking for people and content for a show about retired people who have fun in retirement communities.

I hope it will be a more accurate news report than the piece that Inside Edition did about The Villages. Less publicity is better as far as I'm concerned. Ok! Karen is the friend I mentioned earlier. A few of the singles enjoyed a skype discussion with the casting co. (Not me, I am with Emily Dickenson: "how very public like a frog...")
