To clarify, The Bumper Man's cell number is 352-753-2240. The 704 number is not a correct number.

Todays paints need to be blended into adjacent panels to get a better paint match. $$$

Those spot repairs may look good at first but over time that "spot" will degrade and will stick out like a sore thumb. Short cuts last a short time.

Call Dave Wallace (352) 504 – 9353. Dave is the owner of The Body Shop. He is located on the east side of 441 (next door to Ace Hardware) in Fruitland Park. I have used Dave several times over the past 10 years. He does great work, is very knowledgeable, is reasonably priced—and is a very nice fellow. Over the years, I have sent several people to Dave, and have always received positive feedback.

Try Colors on Parade. They do minor paint repair work for many dealers on
trade ins. Much better option than going to a body shop.

My wife ran into either a curb or other small object. Had small dent and scraps on front bumper. Called John Honigschmidt ( 352 801 6339 ) who is a Colors on Parade franchisee. He does more residential jobs than dealers and will come to your house.

You can send him a picture of the damage by text and he let you know if it is a job he can do and the cost.

We paid him $250 and he did a great job. Paint and clearcoat was a perfect match.

Default Miracle Scratch repair

Years ago I bought several pens that promised miracle scratch repair. It looked like a felt tip pen but what came out of it was clear. It really worked on my red car and my black truck. Sorry, but I don't remember the name or even where I bought it. Maybe the paints have changed today. I have not seen any advertised lately.

There are different kind of scratches. A scratch that leaves a substance on a car can be buffed out and away. A catch where the pin is removed must be repainted. IMO

I had a huge area ( someone hit my car and left a scratches all down the back panel, with white paint marks ) and my son used scratch doctor and it worked beautifully. Just have to do it correctly.

As John N suggested try compound found in a tin at Walmart. Make sure it is polishing compound. The other is rubbing compound, but it is too harsh. Clean cloth to rub it it in pretty aggressively. Let it dry and vigorously polish it off with a clean terry cloth towel. Try that first.

Default The Bumper Guy.

He comes to your house, does excellent work, and his fee is more than reasonable. I can’t put my hands on his card at the moment. It’s the middle of the night. Let me know if you’re interested.
