I am really interested in using a relocube to move my stuff to FL. I am not bringing much furniture since I am renting a fully furnished house for a year or maybe two. The only furniture will be craft/sewing room items, a desk and some book shelves. Everything else will be boxes of books, small kitchen appliances and bakeware, and lots of fabric. Oh I guess I should bring some clothes also. My concern is that my house is at the top of a hill and the driveway has a pretty good slope to it. I do live on a court. Does anyone know if they will place the cube in the street or have a way of leveling it on a slope. If not I guess I will have to rent a truck and figure out how to drive it down myself. I'm not sure any moving company would take such a small load.

Call the moving companies. Some of them HOPE for small load so they can fill the truck and be on their way! It will only cost you a phone call.....

We used ABF trucking for relocubes to move from Michigan to Fl and they worked out very well. We loaded it ourselves with family help, used rope for tying thing off. You must secure everything very well, we had nothing damaged. Very happy. We hired two highschoolers to help us unload.Good luck. Less expensive than Pods.

I think Relocubes are best for a small load, much cheaper then renting a truck, scheduling is much easier also. They can place the cube anywhere you want (on concrete of course), the trucks are equipped with small forklifts that drive the cube up to your driveway, if you have 2 x 4 wooden blocks for support I am sure you can block it up to make it more level. Sloped driveways are no problem.

If I go this route, I will be in no hurry for the stuff in it, as my Florida home is already fully furnished....I wonder if they give a better price if you allow them a few more days/weeks?

Thank you for replys. I have contacted a moving company that is based about 5 miles from my home to get an estimate from them and will be contacting relocubes as well for an estimate. I think I've given up on the truck idea as I am having a hard time making peoples schedules match. I don't want to drive the truck alone nor do I want to tow my car so I would need probably 3 other people if I got a truck. It's about a 14 hour drive from current residence in MD to new one in TV.

Don't know the answer to your question but go to ABF's website, you can get an on-line quote, it is very easy to use and the price quoted was the price we paid.
