We're just patiently (?) waiting for Susan to get down here to plan the next freeze.

Don't think dancing would have the same impact -- too much music at the Squares anyway. Of course, if we could get enough people we could line the outside of a Square and do it that way.

Skip, we did that last year. You can find it on you tube. Just do a search on
"The Villages Freeze". There are also links to it here on TOTV.
This one looks like great fun. I am not sure how much notice it would get in our squares since so many people are out on the floor dancing already, but in a train station it is great!! I wish I had been there. I know another Villages Freeze is already scheduled for this year. It should be announced soon.

I agree, we all look like that anyway on a "normal" night in the square. LOL

Think another freeze will have much more of an impact. Anxiously awaiting the next "Freeze"!!

I think the next Villages Freeze is scheduled for February when Just Susan is here visiting.

However she is in charge, and I'm sure she'll be posting all the details here on TOTV.

Freeze??!!!

You wanna talk freeze??!!!

Try being me, the idiot Buckeye, who does not seem to have sense enough to get herself out of this Cincinnati weather. 19 degrees and a little snow today. And I rarely get to see a blue sky. Hey! I know from freeze!!!!! (Whatintheheck is the matter with me???)

And, TH, I read here on TOTV, a long time ago, that "The Daily Sunshine of My Life" wouldn't run an ad for TOTV. Welllllll, that got me thinking a little.

Why not hire a banner pilot? You know, dragging a big, long banner across that beautiful blue sky above TV, a banner that says "talkofthevillages.com" or I guess "totv.com" would be cheaper, huh. Would that work?

You could send that flyboy up there during the Mardi Gras parade or something. Big crowds below. All looking up. (Hey, Fumar has that picture of an airplane as his avatar. Maybe he would do it.)

(Just a thought. I get way too many thoughts when it's cold outside.)

Okay we are in Arizona visiting, and I was going to announce this tomorrow night when we get home to MN, but I just signed on to TOTV for the first time in a week and you are all talking about the Freeze. Guess the time to announce is now. For details see the new thread 2nd Annual Freeze.

P.S. Peggy I am so sorry I can't make it happen in March, we won't be there.

There are 2 version of this on television (here in the U.K.) at the moment. One is shown every day at least 4 or 5 times. I think it is great!

Arrow Love it!

OMG! And this is just another reason I love London so much!

But, Wow, the choreography involved! I love it, but I don't think it would work at the square either, too many people dancing. And who's going to choreograph it???

It does look like great fun though.
