Default Painting Driveway

Thanks

Some contractors not wanting to a particular job will intentionally over price the work. Getting more bidders is the way to go.
Good luck.

Default Driveway

Just got an estimate from B+D Concrete Creations........3950. 352-455-9614

Yes, cost to take off old paint included but does raise the number

Looked around at Painted driveways and found one that was excellent.

Called Custom Ram for an estimate, they are 1 month out on estimates and 15 months out on work, artist comes to house and creates a painted driveway for you with you

expect the cost to be around 5,000, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, first impressions are important, if interested in Custom Ram Google them, find some of the painters works whoever you get.........and thats as sure as stone/concrete

Reading the posts made me think why we call it a driveway. We park on a driveway, and drive on a parkway. I think I heard this from someone like forty years ago (George Carlin maybe(?).) Oh yeah, a freeway is rarely free. I think that is all.

Hi there. We are actively getting quotes to paint our house. This is a very low price. Do you mind sharing your painters name and number please? What brand of paint did they use?

Thanks!

Default driveway coating

I would suggest you call B & D Concrete Creations. Did a fabulous job on our driveway (2 car garage) 3 years ago for $950. Spoke with Romaldo (owner) today to have him do my garage floor. His number is (352)455-9614

Emerson Concrete Creations $1500 two years ago. My driveway is just a two car. Estimates are fast but he is booking a few months out.

Something to think about what driveways are for.

Some driveways around me are WAY over the top with a design and takes
away the looks of the house.

The same. Our driveway had been painted by the previous owner. It was a nice color so when it started showing wear, we tried to get the same color. But that color wasn't available. So we selected something close. Unfortunately, the guy who did it for us, was one of those "handymen" who do odd jobs, aren't insured, or licensed, cash only, and not particularly good at the job. He did okay. But he didn't do okay - thoroughly. He missed some spots, didn't use a decent sealer, and the finish was very slippery when wet.

So almost two years later, we sucked it up and got the whole thing re-done. The new guy specializes in driveways and custom paint decoration. He gave us a quote, we dickered just a little bit, he accepted our counter, and he got to work the following week. He returned to apply the sealant a few days later. A few days after that, the day it should've been driveable, he told us he wasn't satisfied that it was sealed enough, and he added another layer of sealer. No charge - he was just being a perfectionist. Which we appreciated. He also wouldn't allow us to pay him for ANY of the work until he was finished, and we were satisfied with the work.

Good point, also good to not go crazy with colors, using the same colors as the house helps blend the driveway in.

Also, do you need a permit to redo a driveway?

You're supposed to get arc approval for any change in color/texture/design as far as I know. I don't think you need anyone's approval to refresh the existing color or re-seal it.

Need to check, Arc approval is required in some CCD but not others.
