We are snowbirds and plan to stay that way. I know that all the "carpetbaggers" in TV really don't want the northern money to dry up because it would cause some serious price increases at the restaurants and maybe even the monthly fees at the "golf forever free" courses to go up. Enjoy what you have and chill. This comments on this site are really beginning to sound like an over "65" community. Get off the net and enjoy TV before you get carpal tunnel.

The more snow birds the merrier.
We travel a lot and probably wind up 90 days away from TV, but sporadic.

When we get back, regardless during the winter months or the summer months, we conclude it is the best.

We haven't been many places in our lives where one did not have to wait for a T time, or a good restaurant, or the movies, or yadda, yadda.

It beats most places to live.....in my opinion.

Gee, I wonder if our neighbors on Cape Cod object to us living in our condo June thru Oct. They must think we are "sun birds". Never heard them complain though, they always seem to be glad to see us. Maybe they like the fact that we pay our condo fee year round but only use the services 4 or 5 months out of the year. Maybe the TV Frogs should be a little more tolerant to those of us that live here 6 or 7 months out of the year but pay year round taxes and amenity fees. In a few years from now probably we will no longer be able travel back and forth and will reluctantly have to join the legions of Frogs. We snow birds bring a lot to the party so you all can enjoy TV year round.

I don't think many of us dislike the Snowbirds. I think it is the crowds that get irritating sometimes. Actually I have gotten used to it and just adjust the times I do anything to avoid long waits.

You get used to eating about 4 pm in the Winter months. There are no rreal problems when the seasonal folks go back home and really, we would not likely have as much to choose from if not for the seasonal crowd. We are full time residents and just have learnd to live with it. We managed to live with the Northern Virginia traffic and crowding so we can live with arranging our meals accordingly.

We are TV bound as soon as house sells. Waiting at Carabas in Lansing,Mi is always 30minutes to an hour depending on time of day or if you call ahead a little quicker. Many restaurants you go out to around here it is the norm, Outback, Cracker Barrrel, Fish Market on and on. So you just plan on the wait unless you want McD, BK or KFC. Based on our visit to TV we know and expect that to be the norm but will not deter us from our mission to move to TV as soon as possible.

I think that one of the restaurants should have a snowbird vs FROG food fight.

All the snowbirds could sit on the 'S' side and the perm. residents could sit on the 'F' side. Then some John Belushi character could rise up and shout 'FOOD FIGHT'!.

Maybe we could even stage another Guinness book of records event for the largest Food Fight? Then we could all shut up about seasonal vs. permenant.

We could find some way to donate the proceeds to charity ;D

I'm a full timer frog here and appreciate the snowbirds or seasonal residents or whatever you prefer.
They pay their way just like full timers and if lucky only use TVs 6 months a year.
I've made great friends with SBs and enjoy when they return.
Adjust times accordingly and enjoy our lifestyle here.
Just my 2 cents.
