Have you ever taken note of some of the cloths that they wipe the tables and seats (usually only if they are asked) down with when they bus tables in restaurants? Do you honestly think that they get washed and/or sanitized on a regular basis during a shift or entire day? Do you suppose that cloth used for menus is going to get priority treatment!

And people can be very clueless. I was once having impressions of my teeth made at the dentist. The assistant was gloved up as she got everything put in place in my mouth. Good practice. She had time to kill while the process did what it did so she decided to get a rag and begin wiping down the cabinets in her area. BUT. When the timer when off for impressions she came over and actually thought that she was going to retrieve the apparatus from my mouth wearing the same gloves? Duh! After all SHE was protected! Didn’t happen.

I would think twice about celebrating St Patrick's day here in a local TV establishment tomorrow. I have been advised to sing two verses of happy birthday to wash my hands to adequately kill the virus germs. Watch how long your favorite establishment washes the glass that green beer came in that a total stranger just drank from. At least bring your own glass. Don't know how your going to observe the three foot rule. Ah there will be plenty of elbow bumping. Myself a couple Coronas in my golf cart cooler and round of golf will suffice for this year but I'll still wear last year's (and the year's before) green shirt. Maybe I should burn that shirt after this year.

I get a flu shot.

Default City Fire menu November 26, 2019

On November 26, 2019 I wrote a TripAdvisor review of City Fire in Brownwood with a photo of a napkin that was filthy following a rub of the menu. Menus have long been a sanitation concern in restaurants.

Right! Gloves are inadequate ...mittens or a muff far better.

A disposable paper menu is a good idea...to be used ALL of the time.

I ate at a Chinese restaurant last weekend AFTER visiting The Villages hospital. Which do you think was more dangerous? I probably should have visited the hospital AFTER eating out, right? The threat of botulism was probably more of a realistic threat than the virus.

The flu shot does not prevent you from getting the flu. It only protects you from previous flus. Every year we seem to have a new flu so they have to put together a new version of the flu shot. But that flu shot comes out next year and does not prevent you from a new flu.

Better switch to Bud instead of Corona if you wish to keep from getting that Corona Virus.

Actually, I find I'm enjoying it (since I know it's only temporary)!! Might also order my groceries to be delivered! Just because I don't need to be in the store with the Mob !
I hate lines at the restaurants so this a bright side of the hysteria, NO lines.
