Default Retail Store inventory including Pet Foods

How is the retail store inventory at The Villages Walmarts and grocery stores? Our shelves here in Pennsylvania are pretty empty and have been for some time. Now pet foods are hard to find and the supply seems to be getting worse. I'm just wondering if this is wide spread or just one of many problems here in Pa. Thank You

Do not have a pet but seems like shelves are pretty good, a lot better than last summer when many common items were out of stock.

Order your pet food from Chewy.com. Their prices are competitive with the pet stores and lots of inventory.

We shop for groceries every week at the neighborhood Walmart at Colony and it's almost normal stock. Which on my list probably means one item will be out of stock and have to get next week.

The only real shortages is in some cleaning supplies. I like Lysol spray, and I normally buy the Walmart Equate or Great Value brands, the Great Value spray has been out of stock since March and the brand name Lysol I found only once in the past 9 months so I bought two cans. Also the shower spray, no scrubbing type, I like the Clorex with Tilex, that has also been out of stock the entire time and I found Clean Shower one time at Walmart, and went into Publix last week and they had a few of Clean Shower.

That's been the biggest shortages, fortunately toilet paper is not a problem and I went to the pet aisle last week and it looked full and we even got a Chewy coupon in the mail this week and I gave to a neighbor with a dog.

These items I can't find

Unless of course you would prefer to support your local ma and pop retail store.

I shop at Publix, Aldis and the stock seems to be fine except on some cleaning products, but I use Norwex, cleaning cloths that are non toxic that do everything a anti bacterial-viral cleaner does. The pet food isles look fine but I shop at Petsense in Sumter they have a great selection, the salespeople are very helpful and prices are very good. I also use Chewy.com which is located in Ocala.

The pet food available at the local ma and pop retail store is not good quality food. Ditto a lot of the food available in the big grocery stores.

Sparr, however, carries some good-quality pet food brands at decent prices. So if you want to shop local for your dog, go so Sparr or to one of the two Woof Gang stores. Woof Gang will be expensive, however.

I live close to the Neighborhood Walmart at Colony, use to go to Buffalo Ridge, but we don't go to the big Walmart but maybe once a month and then generally go to Summerfield. They remodeled that location last year and it's bright and bigger. The Buffalo Ridge seems they always have half the lights turned off and the floors are concrete stained reddish, it's so drab I find it depressing. I don't know why they haven't remodeled that store.

The Great Value Lysol generic was in stock yesterday at the Colony Neighborhood Walmart, they're getting more cleaning supplies in stock.
