I take any that could blow into my car. I always return cart to cart bin or take it back in store. I don’t want to be seen as a ———. (Fill blank with appropriate word that fits?)

Just covers some of the cost of the employees. Last time I was there it was only quarter in 90’s. For the lazy entitled hardly enough.

Still a quarter and customers very good about returning them.

MichaelG, you have come up with the oddest topics of conversation. Sucked me right in!

I try to park close to a cart corral, but not close enough where an errant cart could clip my car. If I can’t park close enough to one, I will return mine unless I’m having a bad day (physically). If that’s the case, I’ll push the cart in front of my car, making sure the wheels are turned so it doesn’t get blown around and end up hitting another car.

FYI - you put a quarter in the slot to get the cart. Stays in the slot while you shop. Put the cart back and you remove your quarter. Zero spent and you did the work - ingenious !

Always. Either back to the store or in the parking lot cart corral. Whichever is closer...

Bit like repairing pitch marks, your own and any other you see.
I also take old people across the road, whether the want to go, or not!
So you are the one, I always try to leave the store but someone keeps taking me back across the street and into the store.

Generally it is my wife who takes it once I take the last bag out of the cart.

I always return the cart to the store front unless there is a collection area in the lot.
