LOL, well you could be mostly right now. But, I'm pretty sure Florida was one of the original states to secede from the union and form the CSA.

In the 10 months I've been following TOTV these "rudeness" threads have never accomplished anything useful. It is so pointless. Bonny has the right idea. Moving on.

would like you to try and tell tht to some of my relatives in northern Florida. We refer to the war as the war of northern aggression and we are just taking a break.

We're mostly passive aggressive now. No hard feelings.

He was parked at the end of Publc''s and a woman pulls behind him and starts blowing her horn, We were not obstructing traffic, and gave plenty of room for any car to go by. She shot me the finger, gray haired and all. If you cannot be patient, than go back to the North and leave us Southerners alone, I am so sick of your rudeness, impatience and hostility, We are all retired and have all day, to ponder what tomorrow will bring.

how can you talk about carts all over when your husband parked in front of the store. yes you were impeding traffic because it is a no parking zone and if you were near the end of publix it was probably in front of a stop sign.....rudeness is in the eyes of the beholder. relax life is too short. chilout

One way to solve this cunudrum is to avoid Colony (particularily Publix) during peak shopping hours. We're in "high season" but despite that, people bring their "bad habits" with them. So take a breath, then another one and just do your very best not to be like them!

beside I have a friend who is a cashier. She told me that when the person that puts the groceries in the bag asks if you need to help to the car they hope you say yes. Not for the tip, just for the chance to go outside and have a friendly conversation. Send the cart and the the person that puts the groceries in the bag to the car and the driver will have even less to do.

Publix lets you take your shopping cart to your car and will even have someone wheel the cart to your car and load it into the car - with no tip allowed.

Why have your husband drive to the front of the store for you to put groceries in your car?

No, in this instance, you were in the wrong. Sorry.
