Probably a D. Lot's of them in the Colony area. I never go down there, especially at night.

What is worse the people from the north or those street legal carts going 25mph blocking traffic

Mind boggling how many people think Publix at Colony Plaza is the only place to buy food around here, and that it must be done before 10am. That is when people form the clog there and their worst nasty and stubborn old f*rt traits boil over.

Try a little flexibility in life. Like grocery shopping at a later time of day, or at another of the 15 supermarkets in TV.

I don't go near that place unless it's after 7pm.

I only go to " publics" for emergency items, otherwise I have to get bank loan due to the highest prices round. No wonder the guy at the cash register was complaining " sticker shock and buyers remorse". Any parking lot is "danger will Roberson" as far as rudeness goes, the worse are lazy ????? that won't take the time to take there empty cart to the cart rack and just leave it in parking space. This time of the year I go either at 5am or late at night at wallyworld. At least there I didn't feel I got took as bad!

I so agree!:BigApplause:

Interesting that you find someone blocking the aisle a problem, but don't see a problem when your husband blocks traffic in a no parking/stopping/standing zone. I've seen lots of inconsiderate people during the summer months in The Villages. Let's not brand Snowbirds as a problem. After all, they pay amenities 12 months of the year and can only use them 6 months of the year:)

I was about to agree with you and then I noticed the pretty high horse.

EXACTLY! Should Emergency Services have needed access to the area - do you think the driver would have moved, made their vehicle drive around his car or wait until the groceries were loaded and he drove away?

Publix lets you take your shopping cart to your car and will even have someone wheel the cart to your car and load it into the car - with no tip allowed. Why have your husband drive to the front of the store for you to put groceries in your car? No, in this instance, you were in the wrong. Sorry.

Gracie - We have owned a home in The Villages since 2007.
We are homeowners like you. And also seasonal residents, (aka snowbirds).
