We put a ceiling fan in the kitchen! Wow, I think that is the best thing we have done in this house. The wall oven makes it so hot in there.

we find ourselves using the fans on low most of the time. We just enjoy the extra circulation without relying on just the AC fan.

I think it would be a benefit to run your fans, or at least some of them, if out of town. Normally at home you come and go, fans on, fans off, so the air does circulate more when you are home. Helping to prevent mold, mildew, odors etc.
