Default Yup!

72 hours max. But be a good neighbor and check with folks around you advising them how long you'll be there!

Lots of places around to store them or you can live in them at Recreation Plantation on 466 and Rolling Acres just outside TV.

Covenants allow 72 hours for the reason you indicate but in their driveway, not on the street.

Added question along same lines? Is it legal to park in diamond lanes? I see this often RVs and other vehicle's parked in diamond lanes for days.

Not true, the deed restrictions explicitly state that no RV's are allowed to be parked or stored on any homesite or street unless it is entirely in the garage. The Villages understands that people sometimes need to bring their RV's to their home in preparation for a trip and again when they return from a trip. They look the other way, in most cases, if the RV is there for 3 days or less but they don't have to if somebody is trying to game the system.

It depends on the district you are in. For example in district 9 you can park camper/winibago etc for up to 72 hours in your driveway. From the "External Deed Restrictions for District 9"

"The following does not constitute parking
:
Campers, Winnebago’s, and other RVs
are allowed on the
driveway not to exceed 72 hours (3 days) provided they are not
plugged in or inhabited. This allowance is made in an effort to
accommodate the packing and unpacking of the RV

We have the same restriction in 12. 72 hours is more than enough time to load up or un-load and clean an RV.

When all gets said and done it depends how neighborly the RV owner is as well as their neighbors.

Many of our neighbors have them or visitors have them. Some of the bigger ones have no choice but to use the street.

Never ever an issue of any sort in our village.

Never ever an issue of any sort in our village. Reasonable-ness works extremely well.

Ours either. No one leaves them very long and they don't bother anyone. They are lovely large and expensive vehicles, they won't harm anyone.

We have owners on our street that parks their RV in the street. My only concern is emergency vehicles, including fire trucks able to fit with the RV in the street. I'm at the end of the block and fear this may be a problem for the emergency vehicles.
