However,I listened to the reporting on the guy who was trapped in a wheelchair in New Mexico and could not get away from the fires. Now that is a climate I could not live in. How very sad and how terrifying to be trapped by fire.

So whether you want to live full time in Florida or are seasonal, we are very fortunate.

My heart goes out to the suffering the man in the wheelchair went through. I hadn't heard about this, but hope somehow he survived unscathed.

There's nothing like tomatoes from our gardens in the northeast! Oh My, my!

Tomato sandwiches are the best!! I never even had one until at a friend's house when I was in my teens. I like to add lettuce and onions, sometimes cheese, but then is it still a tomato sandwich?

Growing up (with my grandparents and father) my grandfather grew all kinds of veggies. At dinner time if I was hungry my grandmother would tell me dinner was still cooking and I had to wait. So I would head out to the garden and eat all kinds of delicious veggies off the vine. Tomatoes and raspberries were my favorite.
