We have one that locked when closed. The key won’t open it. We’re interested also.

Does your safe have a customer service phone number somewhere on it? Does the key electronically activate the locking mechanism? I had my safe lock, then refuse to accept the combination (punch keys) when I entered it. Called Customer Service and the first thing they did was advise me to change the battery (located under the keypad). Problem solved.

There are several locksmiths in the area, try Google maps search feature, I cannot recommend any as i have not had to use their services. The above battery solution is the first I would try.

Also try YouTube to see if there is some other feature that would let the owner get into the safe.

No key to this safe. I have tried 3 different batteries and all different brands. I wish it was the battery!

Have you tried calling the manufacturer to see what they recommend? If that’s not possible I would call any of the local safe retailers and see who they use.
