I assumed that your message was a caution and looking for suggestions. Did you have any thoughts?

My thoughts are that it is outside and leaves, curbs, water, frost etc are all hazards that we hopefully have learned to handle with our actions.

But I heard them say in their warnings to watch out for small children. Perhaps they could add "and leaves."

Have Community Watch put yellow ribbons around the leaves.

Exactly! Issued as a caution, not a complaint. Community Watch was quite courteous and mindful of the situation, but had no solution other than to find a broom. They wished they had one in storage, but there was none. Some of the replies here are indeed funny.

Dear OP
Thank you for the heads up. Your heart and mind are in the right place.

Safety on any dance floor first begins with wearing a proper pair of shoes. People who belong to various dance clubs purchase shoes specifically made for dancing.

As for leaves just how do you time them so they do not fall while people are dancing? do you say OK trees we cleaned up the dance floor so knock it off no more dropping of leaves until at least after the DJ calls for the last dance

Personal Best Regards:

Leaves I have no problem with, it's those palm seeds that are like little ball bearings that I think dangerous.

Some regular dancers should buy some brooms and keep them in their cars. Maybe, put a notice about an easy way to make money for some teens in the area of using these brooms before and in between dances.

There are soooooooooo many line dancers at times that if one fell, it would take out all 4 sides of the LSL dance floor. It was really a comical sight watching 2 groups of line dancers last night at Brownwood going in 2 different directions. BTW, wasn't line dancing's heyday 15-20 years ago? Just saying.........
