I mentioned this in post #10. In August there was a coupon in the newspaper and we got a $20 gift certificate, so our membership was only $25. That was available to everyone who had the coupon.

PROTIP: If you download the SAMS CLUB "SCAN AND PAY" (or whatever they call it) APP to your smartphone you can scan and pay for your own items as you put them in your carriage and skip the register line entirely. I probably saved 30 minutes of waiting the other day. The door person "roughly counts" your items on the way out at the door and scans the barcode on your app. It's especially great if you just want to run in and pick up 1 or 2 items since they have no "express" lane.

I've been using that app for many months now and it is the best thing. I love it. No more waiting. Just can't use it to by alcohol or cigarettes.

Thank you for that recommendation. I just downloaded their Scan & Go.
