Different seasoning on sams compared to Costco. You can definitely tell the difference between those two

IMO, Sams is good, Costco's is better. But not worth the 2-hour round trip drive.

I take it you have never bought a COSTCO Rotisserie chicken. Addicting!

Was told sams would be moving chickens to the front of store.

Might save me from buying all those $300 chickens in the future.

Oh No! Not another chicken joke! (remember Rowan & Martin's Laugh In? Goldie Hawn was HOT in those days!)

Do you really think I would drive that far for just a chicken? I buy anywhere from $300 to $600 most every time I go to Costco Their inventory and employees are light years above Sam's.

I've been to Sams and I've been to Costco. As far as I'm concerned there simply isn't that much difference between them,
certainly not an hours drive difference and that's assuming no traffic or accidents.

Costco does not have self checkout while Sams does. Sams also has Scan 'n Go which is what I use.
You simply scan the items with your phone as you place them in your buggy. On your way out the door,
you hit the pay button and show to the attendant. No waiting in line, no unloading and reloading your buggy.

It's a no brainer for me, your mileage may vary.

I prefer Costco because of the superior wine selection and the many cuts of prime meat. The hour each way is worth it to me, but not everyone. Plus Millenia Mall and Capital Grille.

I found the meat a Costco to be fatty and gristly. I'll stick with Sams.

I found the prime meat at Costco as good as Wegmans prime. Found Sams meat not to be very flavorful.

Not crazy about Sam's in general but their rotisserie chicken is the best around.

You said WEGMAN'S! Is there one within an hour or so from here? I REALLY miss that store. I didn't see one listed but I assume you are from up north.

I was in Sam's last night and was very pleased to see rotisserie chickens again available..... YEAH!

They also had signs posted saying that the Cafe would not open until Jan 5..... BOO! (Miss the hotdoge.... don't want the grilled ones they are making outside.)

I am from NJ. I just checked Wegmans web site and they are opening 3 stores in NC. They are moving South.
