There are lots of articles about isolation fatigue. Most of us have it to one extent or another. It’s why some of us can’t stand it anymore and have to go out and do something dangerous. Sounds like this guy was trying to blow of some of that steam and blew a gasket in the process. Be patient, and kind, and oh yes, run away fast.

We’ve been ordering our food on-line via Publix using Insta-Cart. It’s quick, it’s easy and it’s delivered at a day and time you specify. I have found them to be very accurate and they will text you if they’re out of an item or if they need clarification. I absolutely love this service and intend to use it even after the pandemic has gone away.

Daughter-in-law's first encounter with Instacart a few weeks ago was unique. Guy delivering the groceries accidentally backed his car into one of the garage doors. Didn't apologize, just said "InstaCart will pay for it." They are paying and, since the doors are old and can't be matched, Instacart is buying two new ones.

Other than that, the order from Costco was fine.

Relax everyone. He was screaming at me. I took the last 10 packages of TP (12 rolls per package). He didn't like that. We made up outside. I sold him one of the 120 rolls for $10. All's well that ends well.

I notice some healing going on here and I'm glad. Not one person has mentioned that during his screaming tirade he could have spewed billions of virus-laden droplets throughout the entire store if he's positive for Covid-19!

Maybe people want to see what they are purchasing in the way of fresh produce and fresh meat products. Not everyone is into home delivery and maybe their only chance to get out of isolation for an hour or two providing they are wearing their face masks.

Publix has an excellent online app for doing this. You shop online and put what need in your cart and submit it with your payment method. It tells you how long it might be before you get a store shopper, but it almost always happens faster. When a shopper is available you get a notice that he/she has started putting your order together. You get their name and they communicate with you throughout (if something isn’t available they suggest possible alternatives for you and you can decide). You are then notified when they have checked out (the final amount is charged to your card) and are on the way. They leave your order at your door. They wear a mask throughout the whole process. We use it about once a week. Works great!

I thought it was ONE package of toilet Paper (not 10 packages) per person. No wonder he was upset!

Maybe he should have done it outside or just maybe he is an inconsiderate demanding fool and always has been.

Nerves are on edge. How much worse can this get?
Maybe low blood sugar. Needs to eat before shopping. Or perhaps he wore flip-flops and ran over his toes with a shopping cart or dropped a can on his toes. Maybe someone filled a cart with some hard-to-find necessity, leaving none for others.

It was just 10 seconds. Please have a good day everyone.
Sorry, but respectfully disagree with your sentiment. This guy was screaming AT someone, using profane language. That does not fly in my book, especially when in a public place. Gotta scream? Do it in your bathroom!
