Have used Groupon for goods and service for about 5 years - about 10 times. Last time was for a Sam's Club membership - great deal with lots of extras.
Purchase of Goods before was AOK as well.

Our experience = excellent and reliable.

Just be careful. I rarely used my Groupon account. Hadn't used it a year or more and somehow someone hacked it, just last week, and changed my account to their email (and changed the password so I couldn't sign in) and immediately purchased something on my credit card that I had used previously that was attached to the account.

Groupon has been NO help. My credit card company handled it, fortunately. Google "Groupon hack". Happens a lot apparently.

I have used Groupon for years and have been 100% satisfied. One of the great thing about it is that it is always worth what you paid for it, even after the expiration date.....we bought a restaurant coupon that we paid $18 for $40 dollars worth of food, we forgot to use it by the expiration date, but found out that is always worth what you paid for it, so we were still able to go the restaurant and get $18 off our bill.

Great way to try new things or get good bargains on things you already know. You can use Groupons with confidence.
