We didn't retire to be a police force and "keep The Villages in order".
Unless you find a situation a royal PITA, please don't feel you are obligated to rat out your neighbors.

Maybe on 301, but not BV or Morse, imo.

15mi top to bottom average 30mi per hr (with Rounds and lights) would indicate closed to 30 minutes.

Are we talking "new math"

According to google map, 26 minutes (24 w/o traffic) from 42 to 44 via BV (13.1 miles).

I have to say, since moving here, although the traffic congestion is not bad imo, I have had more close calls than I can count. More near accidents than in my entire life, I think. Mostly RABs where people cross lanes while going around, not even considering cars exiting, and cars exiting the first exit from the inside lane.

I agree with you. It's not congested; it just has more than the average amount of, shall we say, unaware drivers.

Not really, I've put up with them for over 50 years.....much worse in the Keys during the winter. If one doesn't like snowbird complaints from natives, I 95 and I 75 go north......

It's true the thrill and shine wear off after a couple of years.
But what is left is a really warm glow.

I'm curious. Do you consider seasonal residents who own homes in The Villages as snowbirds or natives?
