No way. I also would not socialize with anyone convicted of multiple crimes against others or businesses.

No grandchildren visits? Any time the step out of their homes they can be exposed to this situation. So, why no visits?.

Yea, I was thinking the same thing. There is no question in my mind as to what would happen to him if this newest turdwad of TV went after one of my grandkids, no question whatsoever.....

The only issue I have is that there are 3 pages of Villagers listed on the sex offender registry but the others do not get publicized in the paper so people have no problem with them ? You just need to keep aware of the registry if you are having your grandkids etc come to visit since there is no law against them moving into your neighborhood.

That in itself is one sleepless night.

I have enough fodder with the media.

Still glad to live here in this lovely place among mostly wonderful people.

The only difference between TV and any other neighborhood is that we have a newspaper that reports every infraction of the law. You might be surprised about who lived near you in the past. No, I don't want to be best friends with this guy but I am glad I know who and where he is. I know some of the best parents who have the worst kids. I know some of the worst parents who have some of the best kids. Don't judge because you don't know the whole story. If you live near or meet this guy, be aware of his past.

A pedophile is someone attracted to children under the age of twelve. Gender of the child is usually irrelevant. A sex offender could have been caught urinating in public or having consensual sex in public. In this case, he was in his early twenties and had had sex with a female between the age of twelve and fifteen. I'm hoping that the girl was fifteen, not twelve, but we have no way of knowing that without the court records. Sadly, not that uncommon for a young man to be dating a young teenager. So, to me, his sex crime is the lesser issue -- his armed robbery convictions are far more worrisome.

Here's hoping he has gone to his parents to start a new life and that he has a chance to do so.

Common sense is the result of years of observing and making your own mistakes. Compassion is good and misplaced compassion divides our country. RickeyD is right about work, but so many times I will see people arrested for crimes and I will think...why didn't they just get a job and buy a respectable life??? Some of the answers are selfishness, lack of respect for others, and laziness. I am beginning to think that NOTHING will change their attitude and their actions. EVER.

The article states he could have faced up to life in prison. Instead he's now "Living the Dream" in The Villages. What's wrong with this picture?

He needs to learn a trade and work 40 hours a week or else he'll commit more crimes on people. I hope his parents have a plan, I hope he has a plan.
