So as public access all sumter county taxpayers are paying for their creation, upkeep, etc??????????/. I know some roads are public access. If you are right there are substantially more flaws in TV concept....just saying

Not to hijack the thread, but last year when I rented was my first time ever driving a golf cart. My first day renting the villa, a friend of my landlord (bless her heart) gave me a 45 minute "driving" lesson in the golf cart. I told her she could make some $ giving new residents golf cart driving lessons. And I loved the electric cart I used when renting last month.

Its not personal and its not because I don't have high regard for the Sheriff Deputies, I just think they should have more important work to do than patrol golf cart trails in a retirement community. And that's all I've got to say about that!

I see it much like a cop on the beat observing and being observed . I don't believe that p0lice presence serves only one purpose but rather provides security that is multifacited. JMHO

The sheriffs have no jurisdiction on the multi-modal paths (they're not just for golf carts)

I don't care if the sheriff's carting, walking, jogging, cycling or cooping on one of the donated benches.

Only the paths that share a road are within their jurisdiction.

Nothing else being discussed on this thread is of any real importance to me.
