Any recommendations for west to east shipping? I checked out Dependable Auto Shippers and they have hundreds of complaints. I’ll pass on that one but any other ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Please post any information you find. Thx.

When we moved, we went with United Van Lines, and I told them that the one antique car was to be shipped with the furniture. They were able to accommodate us, but it was pricey, around $1200 to $1300 as I recall, but the car arrived a day before the furniture (they used 2 trucks), without a scratch.
I had previously made lots of calls and research, and could not find a service where I was dealing with the owner/driver, I was always dealing with a third party, and I was very uncomfortable with that arrangement.
While it will not help you, we used Amtrak autotrain to ship the other 3 cars, yes we came to the villages with 4 cars.....
Hope this helps.

Dependable....car would have been in Florida already without a scratch. It's a truck, it's a driver doing the job. Price is the thing. So many variables. If the guy shows up and his truck is ratty or he doesn't meet your standards don't give him the car. Bigger company better chance of recovery in a catastrophic loss.

We found this to be a very pleasant way to get around phila, Baltimore and DC.
Hope this helps.
