it was the same up north when a blizzard was in the forecast. Last hurricane or two, people got into fights in the gas lines. Weather people feed into the frenzy IMHO.

Yes, go to Publix they are everywhere and don't sell gas. The day before Irma made landfall we went to Wynn Dixie and they had stacks of bottle water and lots of food still on the shelves. Why do golf cars need to be full of gas for a hurricane, if the main power is out there is nowhere to go anyway unless you just want to see damage.
