I know several who have sold. They are taking their huge profits and re-buying newly built homes. That is what is going on.

And the south is the favorite of the young in-the-know agents. "Seasoned" vs new and exciting. I made my choice.

We lost a JCP there a few years ago. I'm hoping that mall will get a boost from all the folks that live south of 44 as that mall is close to them. I'd love to see a couple more anchor stores in there.

Very surprised books a million has survived. Great movie theater puts the one at LSL to shame.

Yep. Two Designers in St. Catherine recently sold. One for $1.1 million. The other for $1.4 million. The prices are just nutty. They didn’t cost anywhere near that when they were built just over a year ago.

About 3 to 4 years ago when "The Villages" started building south of CR-44 there were no plans to make your living in The Villages convenient. The "Morse Money Hungry Moguls seen to this and for their own profit in only selling homes.

It wasn't till about 6 to 9 months ago the first Publix was opened to buy groceries with a few so-called restaurants S of 44. Aren't you now lucky?

We moved out of "The Villages" 2 years ago due to this as people S of 44 need to drive north and overfill our Restaurants, Stores and Town Squares where we had bought.

Purchasing back in 2009 everything was built prior to sales being shopping, restaurants to attract new buyers as well as Town Squares.
.
For 3 years there was only one Morse-owned restaurant S of 44. But they rented spaces for food trucks to accommodate people's food.
just curious: where did you end up moving to, & are you happy there? that's all that really counts

We have been told that the average person here is on their third home before they decide they are in the right place. Given cost to move and real estate agent fees an expensive proposition

2 1/2 years living here and still same house but we are considering moving to a 4 bedroom.

We will be building our fourth home. Has nothing to do with right place. 2010 New PV for vaca home. 2012 New cottage for investment. 2014 designer to snowbird in with golf cart garage.

I am full time and spouse is close to full retirement, we are building a Warbler, with pool. Even if you sell with realtors in this market you still come out well.cost to move within TV is a bargain, less than couple thousand

At least 10 years out before anything substantial is built there

We bought south of 44 over 5 years ago and there were no problems with getting to restaurants, it's less than 10 minutes to Brownwood from here and only one stoplight between here and there. Why is it that everyone north of here feels they have to be next to a restaurant or a gas station. Back home in Ohio it was nothing to drive 30 minutes to a restaurant or to shopping malls. Driving to Brownwood or Lake Sumter is nothing.
