I'm out of gas, and that's as fast as my wife can push. Quit honking and Go around.

It was meant to be a joke, but I stand by the question part.

I agree and have a response, but it will just get deleted again.

You don't know their needs (perhaps a medical emergency) and they have EVERY RIGHT TO PASS, if they break the law because of it, it's ON THEM. But YOU don't get to dictate speed to anyone else.

Walking "facing traffic" doesn't make any kind of sense for people who grew up never having to walk in the street at all. This is something you have to learn. |

At the end of the day, I wonder how many people will actually conform to the opposing sides opinions? I'm pretty confident in saying 0% will change. Meanwhile, ones desire to hash it out behind their keyboard and justify their stance never ceases to amaze me. This is so similar to Facebook around elections. Vote this way, no, vote that way. I'm right, you're wrong. Meanwhile, you just missed an amazing sunrise or sunset. Move on and quit melting your brain over something like this. Especially, if you aren't the one going too fast or too slow.

Some people have limited or no desire to learn? You know like the ones in diamond lane (no the diamond lane NOT sidewalk) walking 3 abreast and all lanes traffic meet at same time. When walking on road in Florida rule/regulation/law says to walk on left edge of road facing traffic not blundering out close to traffic. When people move from one state to another it’s on them to understand /learn rules/ regulations/ laws of the state they have moved to, ignorance of law no excuse what they say? |

Those are two very different things, and the assertion that they are one and the same doesn’t mean a rule has been established. There are actual rules, however. Golf carts cannot legally be capable of exceeding 20 mph, and 20 mph is the maximum operating speed on our multimodal paths. Let’s work on following the real rules before making up new ones. I have yet to hear a reasoned argument by anyone on this forum explaining why they have the right to operate a golf cart that is capable of exceeding 20 mph. |

Plus one or mini calculation due to road conditions, weather, and calibration of earth rotation.

Correct. Setting perceived needs and invented rights aside for a moment, if the person behind is operating a golf cart, they should not even have the ability to pass someone who is traveling 20 mph.

I witnessed three accidents on Buena Vista that needed police interaction within the last 2 weeks.
The non resident speeders flying through Buena Vista are a huge problem as well. Was tailed hard on BV tonight by some pest control van going 50mph plus. Two gals on BV later were both in their 40s stopped in the round about causing a hold up that maybe caused more accidents. Police were not there yet. They did not move their cars off but just sat there right in the round about. Discussion needed on how to deter non residents speeders on BV, Morse. We dont need complications like this. |

Wonderful! Follow YOUR advice when you encounter a slow driver. Maybe they are experiencing a medical issue or emergency. If they are breaking the law by obstructing the movement of traffic, it is ON THEM. YOU do not get to dictate speed to anyone else.
