OH....get yourselves down here. I understand completely.

BUT...

We had the heat on this morning in Hadley. (We are told that tomorrow brings the usual fine weather, but I am wearing my fluffy robe and feelin' a little grumpy!)

No salt trucks though!!!

my condolences on your weather! just rain and wind here in nj...but the wind is so bad i am waiting to see dorothy and toto pass by! so glad my husband drained the pipes in the maine house before we left after columbus day! hoping all will be well when we arrive there for thanksgiving!

in the words of the late karen carpenter - rainy days and mondays always get me down - but this has made for a great day to finish the pink afghan i am donating to a local women's charity for their respite home...and that's a sunny thing!

I was surprised when I came out to go to work.

Wintry mix in CT. Saw several cars on the side of road as they may have been in accidents. Major Bummer!!!

Over an inch of wet, slushy snow today. My wife and I went out to do some errands. What a mistake! By the time we got home, our driveway was so slippery that the car slid all the way back down to the street. I think I'll pour a glass of wine now!

Don't want to even think about snow. Hopefully this will also be our last winter here. Can't wait to leave snow blower, shovels , salt etc....... behind.

Saturday night it got down to 29 degrees in Hotlanta. Of all the nerve! Below freezing and it's not even winter. On the bright side, it will be back in the 70s tomorrow.

Still, I wish I were in TV.

Snow in RI today and the worst winds I have ever seen in Boston today. It was so bad people were getting blown to the ground near the John Hancock building this morning...craziest thing I have ever seen...yet.

At least the windows aren't blowing out of the Hancock this year.

I have been in MA for one week for work.Of all the weeks to have to be here, two days of wind swept rain, one morning of a slushy commute. I mowed my lawn Sunday with a winter parka and gloves..... I hear ya, would I like some cheese with that whine?

At least I got to watch the Patriot's in the comfort of my home

Back to TV tomorrow....

PS. after driving route 128 in MA for a week I will never complain about a speedy golf cart in TV again !

Default 52 days to go!

The lovely Diane and I will be "leavin' on a jet plane" on New Year's Day for three months in TV.

It has been our goal for many, many years to spend the winter in TV and get out of the snow, cold, and dark of Maine winters.

It is still hard to believe that it is really going to happen this year. It's really going to happen!!
