Default Soccer

Does anyone play soccer in TV? Either organized league play or pickup games. Id love to get back out there, assuming of course I can still move around.

10 years - no prob.

I'm thinking of maybe trying softball and haven't played in 30 years, but did work with my son some when he was in little league from age 5 to 10 (he played until he was 15 but was too old to work with the old man after 10). His 26 now, so that's only 16 years since I threw a ball or hit one.

(I was a youth soccer ref for about 7 years but stopped that when my son left for college 8 yrs ago)(could probably still do some lines for seniors tho).

I do want to play softball too. But these are all just fantasies in my brain. Everytime I get myself back to shape the back blows up, I get prostate cancer, I tear a rotator cuff, Its a never ending battle fighting off father time. And Im only 52...Haha...

Sounds like Pickleball is for you.

My wife and I started playing last winter and had a great time. She played competitive club tennis for about 10 years until she injured her knee and she likes the limited movement in pickleball. I hurt my shoulder throwing baseballs and footballs to my son and playing tennis and, so far, pickleball doesn't bother it.
