I agree completely with all that Artar said above. The liberal media has made this appear much worse than it is. Every death we have now is attributed to the Corona Virus. I would like to see the total death statistics for March and April 2019 compared to 2020.
I believe the increase in 2020 is far smaller than the numbers they are posting. Keep in mind that every projection from the beginning to now has been absolutely wrong. How can we believe anything they say. We are all responsible for ourselves, and anyone who believes that staying away from people can keep them safe should do exactly that. Stay home, avoid everyone. As for those of us that go out, we can keep distance away from others, and act responsibly. Let the businesses open, and allow the employees choose to go to work or not based on their own personal beliefs. The government is treating us like cattle. I am a human being, and I refuse to be treated like an animal being led by political hacks. |

Listen child, I’m sure your mom and dad made tough choices that you didn’t like when you were a rebellious young person. They did it to protect you and care for you. Even though you thought mom and dad were sometimes unfair, and didn’t understand you can look back through the years and see they were right and acting your best interest can’t you? No? Really? Well its what the rest of us call wisdom and maturity. You might want to work on that, and yes, though you have already denied it, you do have a moral and ethical responsibility to us all. That is something else you mom and dad were trying to teach you. Work on that too. Oh yes, may god bless you.

With all due respect I think you are very selfish. Go play on your own. You may want to take the risk but there are others who do not. They are not only thinking of themselves but their friends and families who they could infect as well. Yes, there are people who need to work but this will end. It is times like this that we need to come together , stop this political criticism and be what I call a decent human being. Activities such as softball, pickle ball, tennis, all are sports where people tend to be close, they pick up the same ball, they perspire-very easy to spread the virus. To me, you are a selfish person who clearly only thinks of himself. Sad.

If you are afraid, stay home, in the closet with the door locked. The rest of the world has to get on with it, whether it is going to work or playing. They never closed the golf courses but I have seen many people on the golf course not maintain social distancing. The rules were disorganized and uneven at best. I cannot wait to do the things I want to do, dancing or going to the gym. Enough is enough.

Absolutely correct. Give us a choice for Goodness sake. At a minimum make the fields available for practice. I usually spend hours every week practicing by myself. This hurts no one and helps me mentally and physically more than you can imagine. As an agent orange survivor, this therapy is the only answer to deal with my depression.

Govt. is note my Mom & Dad and I'm not a child. Can't believe you actually wrote that dribble. I may not have a lot of time left at 76 yrs old, but I don't want to do it sitting in my house without friends and the activities my current health will allow me to enjoy. I want to play golf the way it was designed, I want to play pickle ball better then I do as a realitive newly at it. You want to stay in your house, you can still do that after our freedoms are returned. Even that is statement "after our freedoms are returned" is an indication of how sad our situation is , when we think we need Govt to give us back our rights.

Wow look at all the saints on here trying to protect others and calling people that want to live life idiots. How many of you have had a few drinks and drove home, Offered a diabetic sweets, not used your turn signal? You are risking the wellbeing of others. People should be able to live life the way they chose without other people trying to shove views down their throat. You are the same people that try to tell me who I should vote for and who and where to worship. My point is.... None of us are saints and we are all just trying to get through life the most enjoyable way possible. If you’re scared stay in and if you’re not get out and enjoy life. This is supposed to be the friendliest town but this virus has made it not so friendly.

You have the freedom to stay away from anything you feel is better for your health and you always had that right. On the other hand apll those that want the other rights that were taken away, want them back. the freedom to free association. Play the amenities that we payed for and moved here to enjoy. You don't have to participate in that if you CHOOSE. We want to CHOOSEa different road to travel. That ois not selfishness it is just freedom we have given up to Govt.
