Cool One of my primary reasons for being a TV wannabee...

Well, the indoor pool is gone ~ that and the LLLC were two of my top reasons for wanting to move to TV.

graciegirl:

Thank Heaven you had the forethought and sense to go to the ultimate source. Nothing like "The Word from The Top" to squash unfounded rumors!

oh YAY~ The Lifelong Learning Center was the big draw for us to buy a house in The Villages. We were really worried and thanks to GracieGirl for her intelligence and proactiveness! We're there in October and can't wait.

Thanks GG!!! As others have said, one of the reasons I became interested in the lifestyle of TV was to take classes at LLLC. When I read the title of this thread I started to worry that one of my dreams may not be realized. You always come through.

Default What EXACTLY is the LLC anyway?

I have owned in TV for a couple of years and have taken, and enjoyed, several classes at the LLC. However, I have never figured out exactly what it is. Is it a 501(c)(3) corporation, i.e., a tax-exempt educational organization--contributions to which tax deductible? Or is it a profit-making operation owned by the Developer? Or is it something else? The LLC catalog is silent on the subject.

Hardly could be much in the way of profit......except for me. Boy did I gain information and enjoyed it so much.

Default Lifelong College

One of greatest influences of moving to The Villages was the LifeLong College classes. It would be a disappointment to see them take away this program.

Thanks Gracie! I was going to do the same thing if no one else had. Just got back from being gone a week at beautiful Camp Shelby, Mississippi.
