We are from Brick, NJ. Have been living on the water, so TV will be a really big change for us. Ed is originally from Philly, I am Jersey born and bred. Coming down end of August, and then permanently end of September. Renting in Mallory until our home is finished. Really excited.

The PODS arrive today, our closing is on Wednesday and we are off to The Villages, arriving on October 2. Friends are sending photo's of the construction of our new home on Boiling Springs Ct. We can not believe how much has been completed. Looking forward to meeting all of our new neighbors, and making new friends.

Ronnie,

My husband was out walking the puppy the other day and met one of your neighbors on Boiling Springs. They are looking forward to some more people moving in!

Getting panicky, still so much to do and so little time to do it. Have to be completely packed by tomorrow noon. The last minute stuff takes forever.
Fortunately, this is our LAST move.
Jeanne, we may pass each other on the drive. We stay in Florence, SC at a really nice pets acceptable motel. We have a sheltie. So, if you see a car from NJ with a sheltie, it is us.

Ronnies,

We are right in the neighborhood if you need anything. Please pop in - the bottom of Heath Springs Drive. You will see the name on the mailbox.

Unhappy Ohhhh Ronnies....I definitely feel your pain

I am panic stricken also, yesterday I was a basket case knowing I would never make it out in time. I even offered to pay for the buyers hotel and dinner for one extra night, but they wouldnt even consider it . So I had a dumpster delivered, picked up my trailer and today we pack it all up (hopefully hehe) and whatever is left goes in the dumpster. Its going to be a very very longggg day!
You are so right....the last minute stuff does take forever!
Thanks for telling me about the place you stay at, thats one of the most important things I havnt taken care of yet. May I ask what the name of it is and if you have the phone number? Maybe even Nonie and Bernie can join us and we can all have a pre TV party hehe!
And if you see me walking two golden retrievers...that will be me.
If we dont meet up have a very safe and enjoyable trip and I will see you in TV!
We are on our way tomorrow at the crack of dawn!

Jeanne

Jeannie, try this link for the hotels in Florence, SC.

I hope this works. We liked Red Roofs Motels and Quality Inns when we were coming cross country. They were clean and allowed pets. But each city was different. Good luck kids, can't wait to see you over the weekend.

Just remember JB, its almost over and you can relax and enjoy your new life here very soon.

We have stayed at the Best Western in FLorence,SC Really clean and not expensive. Includes a free continental breakfast.
We got out on time, the new owners asked if they could move their furniture in, and then, snafu, wired money from their buyers did not show up and our closing is delayed until tomorrow. Thankfully we are staying at my daughters home. Hope we can get all cleared away so that we stay in Florence tomorrow evening.

If not, we will meet you all on Saturday

Congrat's Ronnies! You must be exhausted yet, filled with elation at the same time. Have fun getting settled in and make sure to take some breaks along the way to relax and visit with your new friends.
